The Dress

The aim of this project was to create a strapless, evening dress with a corset embedded into it. With this we also had the aim of creating the dress for the purpose of a client.

The theme for this project was to create a dress for the Met Gala 2019, therefore following the theme of "Camp". With this I choose the sub theme / concept of "Contrast"; focusing on contrasting colours, light and heavy weight fabrics, sheerness and lenghts.
