Form and Silhouette

The form and silhouette project was all about learning how to create a form fitting garment for women, show off their body while at the same time giving them sufficient room to breath and move.

For this project the theme/concept which I choose to give me inspiration and guidance in my work was "Creatures of Flight".

From this I focused on 'creatures' such as birds, insects; particularly butterflies and dragon flies. I looked and researched into the anatomy, the shapes of feathers, the movements they created and shapes of the creatures in general. But also looked at the colours within them.
